Fibre optic patch cable
Fibre optic patch cable, also known as a fibre optic connector, is a short distance fibre optic cable used to connect two devices or fibre optic cabling components in a fibre optic network. It usually consists of a fibre optic segment with fibre optic connectors at both ends, which can be singlemode or multimode fibre, and common connector types include LC, SC, ST and MPO. Fibre optic patch cords are widely used in data centres, enterprise networks, as well as in the telecommunications and broadcasting industries to enable high-speed, high-bandwidth data transmission while providing low insertion loss and high stability connection performance.
